In 2023, I created an instrumental adaptation of one of my original songs, "Wander," for a film that went on to become a SONY award-winning/multi-award-winning movie, IN COD WE TRUST, directed by Seonghoon Eric Park and Raphael Edwards.
It was thrilling and gratifying to have my song become a background movie soundtrack playing during the ending and opening credits of this amazing film dedicated to telling the story of fishermen in Gloucester. You can learn more about IN COD WE TRUST on IMDb.
Indeed, this was my second time having my music turn into a soundtrack, since, years back, I had the privilege of having another one of my original songs, "Dot to Dot," synced to a televised travel show, THE FAITHFUL TRAVELER, hosted by Diana von Glahn, broadcasting to millions around the world via EWTN. "Dot to Dot" can be heard on their episode dedicated to the visit of the shrine of Saint Rita of Cascia in Philadelphia.
Since IN COD WE TRUST, I have taken two Berklee film scoring classes, and it's been an incredible journey, deepening my appreciation for the craft of cinematic music-making, inspired by my love of orchestration as well as my deep appreciation for the visual arts and visual media.
